Certified Hand Therapist

Pam Shank is a physical therapist with her certification in hand therapy. She attended Quinnipiac College and graduated with a BS in physical therapy in 1987. Pam started treating hand and upper extremities shortly after starting working, sitting for her hand certification and becoming a certified hand therapist in 1992.

Pam started out in trauma, and treated many challenging hand injuries, including digit replants and transplants. Custom orthotics is a favorite in her work, especially static progressive orthoses. Pam mainly treats orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses. Pam enjoys hand therapy to help people progress to being as functional as possible, while problem solving, and helping people to return to daily activities, hobbies and recreational pursuits.

Pam is a new transplant to Delaware, recently moving from Pennsylvania and growing up in New York. Pam has started this new chapter, knowing she raised 3 amazing kids to adulthood, who are all living independently in PA and MD.
