Staff Physical Therapist

Thomas Yoder grew up in Queen Anne’s County Maryland. He attended Central Christian School in Dover, Delaware. After graduating high school, he attended Salisbury University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2013. Tom then went on to pursue his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2018.

Tom enjoys helping people improve their overall function and quality of life through exercise and is excited to continue to grow as a clinician with Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. Tom’s passion for Physical Therapy grew through life experiences after his Dad suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1999 and his twin brother underwent a below the knee amputation as a result of his battle with cancer. “After seeing their Physical Therapists assist them in their recovery and help them return to work and sports, I knew that this was something I wanted to do.”

Tom resides in Harrington Delaware with his wife, Missy and son Greyson. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, archery hunting, and playing men’s softball. Tom also enjoys exercising and has ran 5 half marathons and 1 full marathon.
