Staff Physical Therapist
Teresa Ferrara was born and raised in Middletown, DE. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Neumann University.
Teresa has always had an interest in neurology and neurological disorders. She has conducted research on mobility of persons with stroke with the utilization of motion analysis Cortex/Visual 3D at the University of Delaware. She also became a LSVT BIG certified clinician to assist persons with Parkinson’s disease in achieving their mobility goals.
Teresa is one of many alumni from St. Georges Technical High School. She played on the varsity soccer team and continues to play on an adult recreational league.
Teresa is passionate about how physical therapy can help diminish pain and assist patients in accomplishing their dreams. She is excited to serve people in her local community and is very happy to join the team at Premier Physical Therapy & Sports Performance.
