Staff Physical Therapist
Steve Banaszak is a staff physical therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Dover, DE. A native Delawarean, he holds both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Delaware where he graduated in December of 2010. Steve is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist as recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and an APTA certified clinical instructor. Steve is also a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist providing Dry Needling treatment to his patients.
Steve has been a highly regarded clinician for 10+ years in Delaware. He has previously served as Clinic Director at a Sports and Orthpaedic clinic, and has gained experience in the Home Care setting with focus on treatment of Orthopaedic patients prior to joining Premier.
Steve is a 2004 graduate of The Charter School of Wilmington where he played baseball and football. He is a native to New Castle, DE, but currently lives with his wife, three sons, one daughter, and one dog in Clayton. Steve enjoys coaching baseball for the Smyrna Clayton Little League, as well as coaching flag football and basketball for Upward Sports. He also enjoys spending quality time with family, attending church, playing sports, and weightlifting.
