Staff Physical Therapist
Stefan Smith is a Staff Physical Therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Middletown, DE. Originally from Montclair, NJ, he graduated from Husson University, located in Bangor, ME, in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. He continued higher education by obtaining a Master of Science in High Altitude Exercise Physiology from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, CO, in 2019. He went on to obtain a second Master’s degree in Clinical Health Science and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2024 from the University of Delaware.
In between school, Stefan practiced as a personal trainer and strength coach in various gyms located in NJ and CO specializing in return to sport and corrective exercise. While in school he played D3 Lacrosse and ACHA club Ice Hockey.
Stefan currently resides in Middletown with his wife and two kids. His favorite hobbies are weightlifting, watching sports, snowboarding, and playing Ice hockey.
