Sierra Cruz, MS, LAT, ATC

Athletic Trainer Middletown High School

Sierra Cruz currently serves as a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer for Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, working at Middletown High School. Sierra is a Delaware native, graduating from William Penn High school in 2016. Sierra received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from The Delaware State University in 2020 and obtained her Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2023. Sierra is the first in her family to obtain higher education and hopes to inspire others who look like her to pursue their dreams too.

Highlights from Sierra's time in graduate school include: doing concussion baseline testing on incoming cadets at Army, West Point in NY, traveling to California for a preseason football clinical rotation with the Stanford University Cardinals, and winning a DIAA championship during her first clinical rotation with the Archmere Academy Auks. Sierra has worked with a variety of student athletes across all high school sports, collegiate women's soccer, field hockey, tennis, track and field, and crew, and collegiate men's football, soccer, and track and field.

Sierra was a high school and collegiate track and field athlete. Sierra served as a high school/club track coach in Delaware, she is an advocate for more diversity within athletic training, a natural hair enthusiast and loves to explore the surrounding cities during her free time.
