Part-Time Physical Therapist
Kristen Shelley is a staff physical therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
During her graduate studies, Kristen completed her capstone research with Karin Grävare Silbernagel PT, ATC, PhD. Kristen is a co-author of the article, “Extended field of view Ultrasound imaging to evaluate Achilles tendon structure: A reliability and validity study,” submitted for publication and to be presented at the APTA’s Combined Sections Meeting of 2015.
Before beginning her career at Premier, Kristen had the opportunity as a student physical therapist to provide dance medicine rehabilitation for the Charlotte Ballet. As a former dancer and instructor, she has a passion for the performing arts and reaching young dancers.
Kristen grew up in Middletown and excited to start her career where it all began. Kristen enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as, staying active with Pilates, barre and yoga.
