Athletic Trainer for Polytech High School
Kim Leonard currently serves as a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer for Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, working at Polytech Highschool. She also works as the AT Clinical Excellence Coordinator for Premier Physical Therapy.
Kim is a Delaware native and graduated from the Charter School of Wilmington. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware and worked as a graduate assistant at Iowa State University for 3 years while completing coursework for a Master's in Higher Education. During her time at Iowa State University, she worked as a Clinical Instructor for the students in the Athletic Training program, she taught a Taping and Bracing course for undergraduates in the Kinesiology program, and primarily worked with the softball team, track & field, and the football team.
After Iowa State, Kim worked for the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for two and a half seasons, with a primary responsibility of softball before moving back to Delaware. She currently resides in Wilmington.
