Staff Physical Therapist
John Iannelli is a Staff Physical Therapist Premier's Wilmington office. He completed his undergraduate coursework at Rutgers University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies and spent time working with Rutgers football as an assistant to the team's athletic trainers. He then attended the University of Delaware where he received his DPT degree as well as a Master's degree in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science. After graduating from UD, John went on to complete a residency at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Middletown, DE specializing in sports medicine while providing training room and on-field coverage for Middletown and Appoquinimink high school athletic teams. After his residency, John took a job in the Philly area where he was the head physical therapist for Haverford College division III athletics in addition to being part of the team of therapists covering the Philadelphia Flyers. Furthermore, due to his experience as a collegiate rower for Rutgers University, he became the point man for rowing related injuries in the Philadelphia area providing coverage to regattas such as the Head of the Schuylkill as well as giving presentations on common rowing injuries and injury prevention techniques to elite level rowers at Boat House Row in Philadelphia.
