Staff Physical Therapist
Jamie Smoot is a staff Physical Therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Smyrna, DE. Jamie attended Springfield College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, and the University of Delaware where she earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2011. The University of Delaware PT Program was rated second in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools” at that time, and is now ranked first.
Jamie has worked both in the inpatient and outpatient settings, and has grown to love helping her patients reach their personal goals. In addition to orthopedics, Jamie looks forward to advancing her clinical growth in the areas of vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management in order to help restore function and quality of life for this patient population.
Jamie is originally from Massachusetts but has called Delaware home for 13 years. She currently resides in Middletown with her husband, new son, and 2 large fur-children. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, exploring historic towns, and spending time outside.
