Director of Wilmington Clinic and Physical Therapist
Duncan is a staff physical therapist and director of the Wilmington location. He has been a highly regarded clinician for 20+ years in Delaware. Duncan holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (MSPT) from Widener University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training (ATC) from the University of Delaware. He also has certifications in the Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.
One of his specialty areas is Lower Extremity Examination and Biomechanics with a focus on the endurance athlete. Duncan is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach. He has coached numerous athletes competing in sprint triathlons to full ironman distance races and runners training for 5Ks or full marathons. Athletes have ranged from beginners to National Championship qualifiers. As a former baseball player, Duncan also has expertise in throwing mechanics, shoulder injury rehabilitation and shoulder injury prevention. His focus areas as a whole include performance enhancement, injury prevention and corrective exercises.
Duncan lives in the Pike Creek-Wilmington area with his wife, Natalie, daughter, Liz and son, Will. He is dedicated to leading an active lifestyle and has plans to compete in more triathlons. He will also continue volunteering on the baseball field where he has been a dedicated Little League coach for over 10 years. He finds it extremely rewarding to see athletes achieve success both on and off the field.
Duncan’s goal as a clinician is to provide a personalized experience for his patients to achieve optimal quality of life. He is passionate about developing a trusting relationship and restoring the body to the highest level of function.
