Certified Athletic Trainer for Cape Henlopen High School
Dennis Noonan is the Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer for Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, serving student athletes at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, DE. He will also assist at the Premier clinic in Lewes, as well as with DE Turf.
Dennis is a graduate of Morristown High School, in Morristown, NJ, where he first developed an interest in the field of sports medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Physical Education from Ball State University. Throughout his Athletic Training career he's had the opportunity to work with athletes at all levels, from high school, to college (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy), to professional sports (Cleveland Indians Organization, New York Power), and in the orthopedic hospital (Hospital for Special Surgery, NY, NY) and industrial setting (Amazon).
Dennis has a passion for education, for preventing injuries, and for helping young athletes return to the field of play. He enjoys working with athletes of all types, at all levels, and watching them come back to compete at a high level following an injury. A lifelong learner, Dennis continues to broaden his professional horizons whenever possible, and has studied and held certifications in massage (Swedish Institute), myofacial integration (KMI), and ergonomics (The Back School). Dennis resides in Lewes with his wife and two daughters, and is delighted to be able to work and serve his community alongside his friends and neighbors. You might find Dennis, when he's not working, riding his bike along the beach or local trails.
