Daniel Trang, PTA

Director of Aquatic Therapy

Daniel is a staff Physical Therapist Assistant at Premier PT. He recently moved from the busy area of Northern Virginia to enjoy slower paced Delaware. Daniel lived in Virginia all of his life, where he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science. After college, Daniel discovered his passion for helping others to return to their normal lives and function after an injury or surgery working in an orthopedic clinic. He returned to school to pursue this passion and graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In the last few years of full-time outpatient care, he has honed his skills in treating a wide variety of patients from neurological disorders to orthopedic injuries all in the goal of helping patient’s return to their prior level of function.

Growing up, Daniel played football and competed in powerlifting. This background is where he learned a lot about strength training and body mechanics, which has helped in treating patients and develop exercise programs specific to their desired goals. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his fiancé and their dogs at the beach, where they enjoy fishing, crabbing, clamming, or just relaxing by the water. Other hobbies of his are hunting, archery, weightlifting, and spending time with family and friends in Virginia. Daniel is excited to explore Delaware more and get to know the community he will be treating.
