Adrienne Nelson, PT, DPT is a staff physical therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. She attended Quinnipiac University in Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor of Health Science in 2007 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. While attending college, she worked as a lifeguard, fitness center manager, aerobic instructor and yoga teacher where she developed her love for health and wellness.
Previously Adrienne worked as a PT with a large healthcare organization who supported multiple professional and local sports teams. She worked with patients of all ages with orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports related conditions, performed return to sport testing and assisted to develop a post-concussion rehabilitation program. She has a special interest in vestibular therapy, helping patients with dizziness and balance disorders, and became a vestibular certified therapist through American Physical Therapy Association in 2019.
Adrienne was born and raised in New Jersey and most recently lived in Maryland before moving to Delaware with her husband and three young children. She enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and pool, walking her dog, cooking, and watching her children participate in recreational sports.
