Staff Physical Therapist
Sean Burg is a Delaware native who grew up in New Castle. He graduated from William Penn High School in 2018 where he played football, lacrosse, and swam. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Misericordia University in 2021 before earning his doctorate in physical therapy in 2024 also from Misericordia University.
His passion for physical therapy comes from having his own bouts of physical therapy treatment during his athletic career. Seeing how something as simple as exercise can make such a large impact on a person returning to sport as well as the influence of his high school athletic trainer, who was a physical therapist before becoming a trainer, showed him what his true calling was. He is excited to use this passion to help others return the athletic field as well as return to their normal lives after sustaining an injury or other condition. In his free time, Sean likes to be outdoors, especially during fishing season, as well as to watch and play sports with his friends and family and spend time with his loved ones.
