Kevin Schultz, PT, MPT, MsHCA, MBA, OCS is a partner and Physical Therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Smyrna, DE. Kevin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001. He then went on to earn his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. During his time at the University of Delaware, Kevin had additional training under Dr. Michael Axe for two years as a Graduate Assistant. In doing so, Kevin gained a great deal of experience in treating a wide variety of orthopaedic and sports injuries. His experience also enabled him to become a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy (OCS). Kevin is currently the only Orthopaedic Certified Specialist in the Smyrna area.

After graduating from Physical Therapy school, Kevin worked for Christiana Care Physical Therapy Plus. During his tenure there, he assisted in the opening and management of multiple clinics. During that time he served the Dover and Smyrna communities for over 9 years. Kevin is now proud to have the opportunity to continue to serve the Smyrna community by joining the team at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance as a partner and Physical Therapist in their Smyrna office.

Kevin has been involved with the Smyrna community attending numerous community events, providing instructional lectures, writing newsletter articles, performing injury prevention discussions and screenings, and participating in community outreach activities through the local senior center.

Kevin has furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Healthcare Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland’s University College. In addition, Kevin has continued to enrich his clinical skills and knowledge by attending courses with a specific focus on the neck, back, shoulder, knee, and chronic pain. As a certified clinical instructor, Kevin has mentored and taught a number of student interns over the years.

Outside of work Kevin spends much of his time with his wife Sarah, and his daughter Savannah who was born October 2014. Kevin has a great love for the outdoors. He has gone on several week-long treks backpacking through some of the most remote places in the United States. He is also an avid downhill skier who has travelled to many of the greatest locations in the US and Canada.
